Company Overview:
Join our Team! The Big Chill 30A is a family friendly entertainment complex located on historic 30A, nestled between Alys Beach and Seaside. Our venue hosts 5 restaurants, 3 bars, retail shops, an arcade and an amphitheater for live music and a 25’ LED Jumbotron for sports and movies. We are open year-round, from 7am to 10pm. 
 
NECTAR coffee shop is hiring for the spring/summer! Proudly serving Lucky Goat Coffee and an eclectic breakfast menu including fresh pastries, acai bowls, smoothies and morning sandwiches. We have both Full Time and Part Time positions available and offer flexible scheduling for students and seasonal employees. 

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service:
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with kiosk-based ordering.
  • Provide recommendations on coffee and menu items based on customer preferences.
  • Ensure a friendly and positive experience for all guests and property team members
Beverage & Food Preparation:
  • Prepare espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and other specialty beverages following standard recipes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all drinks and food items.
  • Proficiency in all drink prep and specialty drink recipes, including smoothies, shakes and frappes and food recipes including acai bowls, parfait cups and other grab-n-go items. 
Operations & Maintenance:
  • Operate and maintain coffee-making equipment, grinders, and brewing systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant, including countertops, seating areas, and workstations.
  • Follow health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.
Inventory & Teamwork:
  • Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies as needed.
  • Assist in tracking inventory and reporting low-stock items to the manager.
  • Ability to work well with other team members in a busy, high-volume atmosphere

Uniforms
Upon hire, all team members are issued a complimentary uniform that consists of 2 shirts, 1 hat and 1 name tag. Additional items may be purchased at cost.
Each year on your work anniversary, you will receive another uniform issue of 2 shirts, 1 hat and 1 name tag. Please let your direct supervisor know when it’s time for your anniversary issue.
Shift Meals
All team members receive a complimentary meal up to $20 in value with each shift worked (shift must be 6 hours or more). Please review the team member meal policy section of your handbook for more details on this benefit.
Discounts
All team members receive a 50% discount on items that are not eligible for the shift meal(ice cream, milkshakes, bottled beverages, coffee drinks).
When visiting The Big Chill during time off, all team members receive a 50% discount on all food & beverage purchases (excluding alcoholic beverages)

Bonus Program
Welcome Back Bonus: $100 per year (maximum $500)
End of Season Bonus: $200
